Would you like to put something back into our local community and help older people ?  We are always looking for committed volunteers who would enjoy working in a team with like-minded people.

We need more people to support our operations on the days that we are open, currently two days per week on Mondays and Thursdays.  The work involves helping in the kitchen to make drinks and light snacks and generally socialising with our Members.  A commitment to attend regularly, but not necessarily constantly, is sought.  In time we plan to open on a third day.

A small team maintains our garden and more help is always welcome.  Again regular, but not necessarily constant, attendance is sought.

​

We also need someone to drive our premises maintenance activity.  We have a list of items that need addressing, we have the workmen to do the jobs and we have the money but we need someone to get things done.  After an initial effort, this role should involve no more than 2/3 hours per month.
